Job summary
We are looking for a dynamic, highly resilient, skilled individual to lead and develop the cancer clinical nurse specialist team.
This is a key strategic leadership and operational support role in developing and maintaining sustainable high quality cancer nursing services.
The post holder will work collaboratively with the Cancer Services Team, the west Yorkshire and Harrogate Cancer Alliance, primary and secondary care and the voluntary sector, to improve the quality of health provision for patients with cancer and their families. The post holder will maximise the contribution that nursing makes to cancer services, focusing on leadership, accountability, support, and supervision, ensuring that cancer nursing care across ANHSFT of the highest standard and in line with Achieving World Class Cancer Outcomes, The Living with and Beyond agenda and the Cancer Alliance Planning strategy.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work across organisations to promote the integration of cancer services, streamline processes, optimise communications and education, as well as promote service improvement and redesign, alongside local and national priorities. The post holder will be required to work across sites with the Cancer Alliance, work collaboratively with Bradford and Primary care as required.
