Job summary
West Cumbria Community Treatment are delighted to advertise for Band 5 Community Nurses. We are a busy, dynamic and friendly team offering high quality treatment for people with moderate to severe mental ill health. Please note you require 1 year post registration experience to apply for this vacancy.
Main duties of the job
As a Community Nurse in our team you will hold a caseload of clients requiring support with the conditions as described above and will receive supervision and guidance as you do this. You will also work into our clinics, providing high quality treatment for people who are prescribed depot medications, clozapine or those who require support with physical health monitoring.

- RMN, RGN, Learning Disability Nurse, OT, Social Worker
- 12 months post registration experience, and completed preceptorship
Desirable
- Further relevant post qualifying training
Experience

- Knowledge of relevant contemporary professional theories of mental health care and evidence based interventions.
- Experience of working with service users and carers in successful delivery of treatment plans

- Previous experience in a community setting.
