Junior Sister/Charge Nurse will have on-going clinical responsibility for the designated area in which they are allocated.

They will be required to provide managerial accountability in the absence of the Team Leader under the supervision of the ESC clinical lead/ Theatre matron

In addition to clinical duties, the direct supervision and training of junior staff will be their responsibility in order to ensure the provision of a high quality and cost effective service to patients and users.

They will be responsible for the provision of high quality, individualised care to patients/clients and relatives.

The Junior Sister/Charge nurse will be responsible for acting in such a manner as to uphold and enhance the good standard and reputation of the Trust.

You will have the opportunityto rotate between admission, discharge and surgical assessment unit duties appropriate to your experiences.

The assessment surgical hub(ASH) is a 16 bay outpatient's ward area where patients come for surgical assessment, intravenous antibiotics, change of wound dressing, blood tests, all on the same day. We need a proactive ward practitioner to fulfil this role. Our experienced staff take care of all ages across the borough of Croydon.

You must currently be registered with NMC/HPC.
