Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 6 Physiotherapist in BHR Falls Service.
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Band 6 Physiotherapist with an interest in Falls for this exciting opportunity to work as part of the multidisciplinary team in the BHR Falls team.
The service is a forward-thinking and innovative service that is community based and works in a fully integrated way, with geriatricians , occupational therapists, nurses and community matrons all working side by side to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to the care of people accessing our service.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside and attend training with nursing and therapy colleagues within a large multi disciplinary team, offering valued, challenging and rewarding role within the team.
Main duties of the job
You will be expected to carry out clinical visits to patients in their own homes and care homes delivering physiotherapy interventions to the population.
The successful applicant must be flexible, a good team worker, used to working under pressure, have excellent interpersonal and IT skills and be able to communicate effectively with patients, carers and other members of the MDT.
You will be supported with continuing professional development and will be supported to undertake training such as Non Medical Prescribing .

All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.High Cost Area Supplement - LondonThis post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary.
