Job summary
The post holder will work as part of the Operations Directorate to support the Head of Operations and Emergency and Resilience Planning (EPRR) agenda. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to undertake EPRR qualifications.
Main duties of the job
The role includes strategic and operational business planning and performance monitoring. It will be necessary to continuously develop strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure collaborative working and business integrity, taking full responsibility for actions and for keeping others fully informed.

- Degree or equivalent management qualifications
- Specialist knowledge to post registration/graduation diploma level or relevant experience
Knowledge and Experience

- Recent management experience involving budgetary, staff and service management in an acute hospital setting
- Experience in the management and delivery of significant organisational change programmes
- Evidence of experience in developing and implementing service/business planning
- Experience of project management or work where specified time-limited objectives must be achieved

- Leadership skills demonstrating ability to influence and negotiate successful outcomes
- Evidence of ability to undertake complex duties without supervision
