This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of this innovated model and also an opportunity to use all of your clinical and interpersonal skills, develop new skills and work with a unique population group who need your clinical skills.

This is a varied role working within a Primary Care setting providing high quality emergency care and minor injury treatment to patients with both primary care and acute care needs. It also requires you to play an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patients care.

Job responsibilities

Person Specification

Qualification

Essential

  • oQualified Paramedic with current HCPC registration
  • oALS/ATLS/PALS Qualification for Paramedics
  • oEvidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD).


Desirable

  • oTeaching and assessing qualification


Experience

Essential

  • Proven post registration experience including evidence of working in any of these following clinical areas Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments, Minor Injuries / Illness Units
  • Experience of working autonomously
  • Evidence of team leadership and supervision of junior staff
  • perience of working within a multidisciplinary team


Desirable

  • Experience within Accident and Emergency and Primary Care environments
  • Experience of managing a team
  • Experience within Accident and Emergency and Primary Care environments
  • Experience of working with adolescents
  • Experience of working within a trauma informed care approach
