Job responsibilities
The post offers exposure to theatre sessions, gynaecology outpatient clinics, antenatal clinics, obstetrics and gynaecology on calls. Allocation ofduties can be tailored according to the training needs and career intentions of the applicant. There are excellent opportunities for audit and research.
The post holder will have consultant-led education and supervision and will besupported in their professional development.

- Participate in the second on call rota for Obstetrics and Gynaecology. On-call commitments of 1 in 10.
- Assist in the training of FY2, GPVTS, ST1 and ST2 juniors, and ST3-5.
- Provide input into the department's teaching/audit programme.
- Be the senior night registrar lead on site over the weekends - with consultants on call from home

- General experience in O&G equivalent to ST5 level, ability to perform caesarean sections independently is essential.
