An exciting, community-focused opportunity has arisen to work in the the West London Bowel Cancer Screening Centre at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
This is a fixed-term role that will require close interactions with NHS England, community groups and other bowel screening professionals as the programme extends its reach to younger age groups and subjects with Lynch syndrome .
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who wishes to progress their career within our newly created health promotion team and paly a part in addressing West London's health inequalities. In return, the Trust provides various excellent training programmes to support career progression as well as mentorship opportunities from different staff groups to support your learning and development needs.
Main duties of the job
As Bowel Cancer Screening Programme (BCSP) Health Promotion Specialist, the post-holder will assist and facilitate the developing and delivering health promotion strategies, with the aim of increasing uptake of bowel screening in West London in order to improve health outcomes and reduce health in equalities amongst the screening population. In conjunction with the Programme Manager, Director of Screening, Health Improvement Specialists and Lead Specialist Screening Practitioner, the post holder will represent the Bowel Screening Service within the Trust and externally.

- Proven track record of delivery in a large complex service focused organisation
