Job summary
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual to join our senior radiographic workforce at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. The role has been re-titled to reflect the new banding, pending approval at the upcoming job matching panel. The successful candidate will provide departmental management and lead the CT modality. Excellent CT knowledge and practical skills are essential, as well as sound written and oral communication skills. Familiarity with HR processes and the ability to work to deadlines is extremely important, as are good interpersonal skills and the capacity to thrive in a pressured environment.
We want someone who is passionate about service development and shares the same drive for improvement we do. The candidate will require effective organisational skills to ensure continuous compliance with internal KPI's and external performance requisites. Leadership is an essential attribute.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will lead the CT service and be the primary point of contact for the speciality. They will actively engage with all aspects of the service and continuously seek its improvement. They will be responsible for the day to day management within the department and hold a key position in theoperational provision of the out of hours services, ensuring adequate resources are available to the staff who deliver it. The post holder will drive high radiographic standards and collaborate with key stake holders to ensure the service is fit for purpose and meeting all regulatory requirements.

- State Registered with HCPC
- Evidence of CPD or portfolio
- PGC in CT or equivalent masters level education in CT
