The North Cumbria Childrens ADHD Service is looking for a blue sky thinking clinical nurse Specialist to join the team.
The successful candidate will offer specialist practice' within the service for up to 80% of the post. Provide professional leadership and advice, including clinical supervision to the team.Take part in service developments within the CBU pathways.Education, training and development of staff, and a range of other agencies, statutory and non-statutory in conjunction with the Nurse Consultant. With formal academic links established.
Undertake audit and related activities in aspects of clinical practice, therapeutic intervention and service evaluation involving service users and their families.
Contribute to the strategic development of the nursing strategy for CNTW Trust.
Main duties of the job
The Clinical Nurse Specialist will contribute to the strategic direction for the development of nursing practice within the designated Clinical Business Unit. Will take the lead in extending boundaries and creating frameworks for the enhancement of nursing within their speciality. The post holder will continue to strive towards excellence in nursing care and communicate this excellence to colleagues both within the organisation and externally. The post holder will work with the Nurse Consultant on nursing developments within this specialist area of practice.
