Job summary
We are recruiting for a Maternity Services Experience Engagement Lead who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The post holder will contribute to the development of a maternity services strategy that maximises the positive experience of patients and their families at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust.
The post holder will also strive to ensure that service users are included in the co-production of services and that they can confidently make choices about their care to enable the monitoring and enhancement of the experience for them and their families.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will contribute to the development of a maternity services strategy that maximises the positive experience of patients and families at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust.
Ensure that service users are included in the co-production of services and that they can confidently make choices about their care to enable the monitoring and enhancement of the experience of service users and their families.
The post holder will work and liaise with the Maternity Voices partnership (MVP) and Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS) to coproduce services which reflect the feedback from patients and enhance personalisation of the service and shared decision making.
Co-ordinate and monitor progress against the overarching improvement plan for patients experience within the maternity services.
Evaluate experience by use of the feedback tools, working alongside and liaising with the Patient Advice Liaison Service (PALS) department to enable the triangulation of feedback and reporting systems.
