To fundamentally support the Deputy General Manager in the day to day operational management of Trust wide services providing visible site leadership alongside senior management teams.
Main duties of the job
Contribute to the formulation and implementation of service delivery plans, patient pathways, annual business plan and activity and income plans to ensure quality services are developed and maintained.
Work with the senior management team to produce, revise and update policies and procedures to establish and maintain high standards of working practice.
Undertake a range of service improvement projects and required delegated duties. This will include the development of Cost Improvement Progammes schemes to ensure efficiencies but also supporting the patient flow on each site with the management team.
Deputise for the Deputy General Manager in any aspects relating to the service for both the emergency pathways and the elective/outpatient pathways.

- Experience (equating to a minimum of 3 years) in operational role working in a complex, multi sited, and multi professional organisation.
- Previous experience of managing challenging targets within tight deadlines
- Previous experience of managing a range of staff groups.
- Proven track record of delivering projects to time and within budget.
