Job summary

The South Manchester, Integrated Community Rehabilitation Service has an exciting opportunity within the Community Neuro Rehabilitation Team for a Band 6 Physiotherapist. This service provides rehabilitation for a varied caseloads of patients within their own homes and therefore presents an amazing development opportunity for clinicians who have a keen interest in Community Neuro Rehabilitation

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and dynamic, have a passion for delivering care close to home and be committed to keeping patient's in their own locality. UK driving license and access to own vehicle are essential for the post.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for providing specialist complex multifactorial clinical assessments, treatment and advice to patients in thecommunity who have a variety neurological presentations.

The individual will manage a clinical caseload of clients, including those withcomplex and highly complex needs with support from the band 7 therapists for highly complex patients and supervise the band 4/3 support staff withcaseload management.

The post holder will work without direct supervision as a lone worker in thecommunity assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and modifyingindividualised treatment programmes in a variety of care settings e.g. patients home and residential homes for patients with low to highly complex needs.
