Job summary
This is a new and existing opportunity for a an individual with qualifications and or experience in creating and developing e-learning packages to join the Learning and development team as an E-learning Development Facilitator.
At Nottinghamshire Healthcare we aim to provide the best possible care for our patients. To support this we need to ensure the provision of high quality, comprehensive training for all of our staff and our e-learning offer is key to this.
The E-Learning Development Facilitator will support the Head of Learning & Development to develop and deliver a successful e-learning strategy for the Trust and to lead on all e-learning developments, with specific responsibilities for managing the E-Learning platforms, developing new e-learning courses, ensuring courses are updated regularly and have regular quality monitoring systems in place.

Main duties of the job
The E-Learning Development Facilitator will
- Be responsible for managing the E-Learning platform on a day to day basis, ensuring that all learning is readily and easily accessible for our staff.
- Develop new e-learning courses, using appropriate software applications.
- Be a point of contact for all e-learning enquiries in relation to developing a new course, to work with the individual/s to ensure that the course is fit for purpose prior to being put onto the platform.
- Ensure that all courses are updated on a regular basis and to have a robust quality monitoring system in place.
- Support and provide training for system administrators to use the Learning Management System safely and effectively
- Develop innovative ways in which e-learning can be used to communicate and engage with staff at all levels.
- Advise on technical developments of the Learning Management System (LMS) to meet the learning needs of a range of learners and to ensure full use of learning platforms' functionality to manage learners' access and continued use.

- A relevant degree or equivalent experience
- In possession of a relevant IT Qualification Level 4 or equivalent

- Knowledge of Moodle or a similar Learning Management Systems
- Advanced knowledge of MS Windows, Office, internet, web authoring and design tools and email applications up to subject matter expert level
