Main duties of the job
Band 5 Management Accountant - Finance
The role will provide financial support to the Mental Health Division which is the largest clinical division in the Trust.
The Management Accountant will contribute towards the preparation of the monthly Directorate and Board reports, produce monthly forecasts, and manage their workload such that all deadlines are met, whilst completing work to a high standard and ensuring that accurate and timely budgetary control information is circulated to all budget holders in line with agreed reporting deadlines. Regular meetings with a range of budget holders will be required.

Education to a degree or equivalent
Working toward CCAB qualification or equivalent
At least 1 years experience within a finance function
Ability to clearly communicate finance and non-finance issues
Previous NHS experience is advantageous
Demonstrate good team work and communication skills
