Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC) are seeking to recruit enthusiastic Bank Level 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapists with well-developed assessment skills and holistic client - centred practice to join our community team for flexible working opportunities via Temporary Staffing.

You will work across the whole city of Birmingham, in a range of community settings, including mainstream schools, nurseries, special schools, homes, health centres and children's centres.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for the assessment and on-going therapeutic management of children in a designated community area/ clinic and for a clinical caseload, monitoring own, and others workload/ treatment methods, in order to maintain high professional standards

The role is to assess and reassess the needs of the child, analysing and interpreting the information gathered to provide a diagnosis or contribute to the diagnosis and formulate a treatment plan and toprovide care plans to meet goals and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions using appropriate outcome measures and make any necessary modifications
