We offer an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic, dynamic and committed people who would like to work in a CQC outstanding rated Mental Health and Learning Disability Trust. We are recruiting Qualified Nurses Band 5 for the North Cumbria Locality Care Group, to work flexibly across a wide range of Services as part of the Staffing Solutions Nurse Bank Service.
As a qualified nurse you will have completed your preceptorship and have experience of working into mental health services
Bank workers are an integral support to our substantive workforce and are needed to cover known vacancies, sicknesses and other staff shortages and more often Bank workers are needed at short notice for clinical need. There is an expectation that bank workers will work at least one shift every three months.
Main duties of the job
You will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will have the ability to work both independently and within a team. You will demonstrate the ability to liaise with different agencies.You will need to be skilled and comfortable in dealing with clients who have multiple and complex needs, including issues around risk management.
Provide excellent professional, skilled and effective person centred, evidence based nursing care.Actively involved in the health and wellbeing of staff and service users.
Visible and accessible to patients, families and carers working together to ensure efficient, effective and caring services.Contribute to achieving all performance indicators, essential standards and quality outcomes.Contribute to the education and development of the workforce and students.Contribute to staff appraisals and support personal development plans.Safely administer medication following Trust policies and practice guidelines.Provide compassionate care that is based on empathy, kindness, respect and dignity.
