Are you a band 6 or experienced band 5 physiotherapist with an interest in paediatrics?
A unique opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the paediatric physiotherapy team at North West Anglia Foundation trust. The post holder will work within the paediatric physiotherapy team and supported by the wider therapy team and multidisciplinary team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated physiotherapist, who is Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), to work across a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. The post will allow you to develop your clinical skills in a range of settings.
The post holder will be supported by experienced team members with CPD opportunities and peer learning. Previous paediatric experience is essential. There is an expectation that the post holder will have a strong interest in service development. The postholder will be required to participate in the on call and weekend rota (children and adults) with being a car driver essential.

Main duties of the job
- To enable Physiotherapy to provide Therapy Skills within the inpatient and outpatient paediatric service
- To ensure safe, efficient and effective delivery of patient focussed care in line with identified evidence based practice, local and national standards
- To work collaboratively within Multidisciplinary and Multi-agency Teams
- To participate in delegated projects for service development with the team
- To act autonomously in the assessment and treatment of patients within the speciality who may have a complex presentation
- To demonstrate a flexible approach to working in support of the whole in patient/outpatient team
- To undertake weekend and on call working as required within service developments
- To be available to provide Clinical Supervision
- This role entails 90% Clinical Contact and 10% Operational Management as appropriate within team requirements
- To guide Band 5 and support staff in the management and delivery of therapeutic care plans
