This is an opportunity for you to further develop your clinical skills working as a Senior Occupational Therapist within the Specialist Mental Health Team (Chelmsford locality). You will undertake both care co-ordination case management and the delivery of specific Occupational Therapy interventions as required by and determined by the service users needs.There is a strong professional AHP leadership structure within the organisation, and you will be supported by the OT clinical lead within the locality team
Main duties of the job
You will be working within the Occupational Therapy service as part of the multi-disciplinary team. You will be assessing service users referred to the service, and making decisions on the level of treatment intervention required, and delivering the appropriate interventions. You will undertake care planning with the service user, communicating agreed plans with the wider MDT and partnership organisations. You will have responsibility for managing those you are working with within your caseload.
