Job summary

**We offer a relocation package of up to �8,000**

The relocation package is for anyone joining the Trust in a Clinical role who would need to relocate in order to take up employment with Cheshire and Wirral Partnership.

To be eligible for the relocation payment, you must live more than 40 miles from the base/location of the post you are applying for and you would need to relocate to within 15 miles of the new base.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner to put their experience and professional registration to great use in the role of Team Co-Ordinator of the 0-18 CAMHS Central Team . You will possess leadership and management experience with a desire to support and develop the staff team. With strong communication and organisation skills and a flexible approach, you will ensure you deliver positive experiences to patients at every stage of their time with us.

Working as part of the 0-18 CAMHS team you will join a dedicated and enthusiastic team of professionals with a drive to provide an outstanding quality of care. You will manage and supervise clinical staff and work as part of the Senior Leadership within the service to participate in the evolution of the service, ensuring that the needs of our Children, Young People and Families are at the centre of their care.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide operational management and leadership to the team, ensuring effective implementation and on-going delivery of Trust pathways and protocols in order that the team can deliver safe and effective, high quality compassionate services.
  • Clinically, hold a specific caseload in order to maintain registration with the post holders governing body and to provide high level assessment and intervention in line with the posts seniority and expected level of experience and skill.
  • Work in partnership with the Deputy Head of Clinical Services, and other senior staff to establish effective multi-disciplinary working within the team and the wider CAMH Service.
  • Ensure that practice across the service meets required standards and evidences shared decision making and evaluation of practice through use of routine outcome measures.
  • Lead on the recruitment and supervision of staff, operating within the available resources to achieve the required targets.
  • Lead on the establishment, implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures.

All new clinical support staff will be required to have completed or working towards the Care Certificate (CWP In-house 2 day training to be completed within 6 months of start date).

New entrants to the NHS will commence on the minimum of the scale stated above.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • Relevant degree or equivalent level qualification and registered with an appropriate professional body. Professional knowledge acquired through training and experience in child and adolescent mental health provision
  • CYP IAPT Post Grad qualification in Supervision


Desirable

  • Evidence of further professional development involving child and adolescent mental health.


Knowledge and Expertise

Essential

  • Sound knowledge of current professional staff and team development and continuous service improvement.
  • Knowledge of current legislation relating to MHA and Children's Act.


Desirable

  • Information management and technology skills
  • The ability and knowledge to signpost to other services.
  • Recognition of the interface between physical and mental health for children, young people and carers
  • Knowledge of the principles of CYP-IAPT


Experience

Essential

  • Significant experience working within child and adolescent mental health.
  • Multi agency/professional working experience
  • Experience of delivering supervision both clinical and line management supervision


Desirable

  • Evidence of management experience or further development within a leadership course
