Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Registered Nurses to join our friendly Nursing Team on Ward 310. Ward 310 is an 29 bed acute, fast paced medical ward which specialises in Diabetes and Endocrinology.
We care for acutely ill patients with many medical complications. We also have general medicine patients - allowing staff to maximise their skills and increase their knowledge.
If you are a newly qualified or experienced Registered Nurse with an interest in, or wanting to develop your knowledge and expertise in diabetes care and management then this is the post for you.
Full and part time hours available.
Main duties of the job
Provide day to day supervision of the delivery of care by junior staff, providing the necessary advice and support to maintain good patient care.
Communicates effectively with patients, relatives and other members of the care team to ensure a shared understanding of the patient's care.
Maintains accurate, legible and timely records of patient care using the current patient recording system.
