Job summary
ASR Division are looking for 2 experienced Nurse/AHPs to undertake a fully funded Level 7 Advanced Clinical Practice Apprenticeship Masters at the University of Birmingham . You will develop a clinical portfolio in order to achieve the level of competence/capability required by the post of an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP). Successful candidates will be supported by a clinical supervisor and personal academic tutor to identify a learning plan to achieve the Master's degree to include speciality/service specific modules and skills.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be practising under both direct /indirect supervision of an experienced ACP and a Medical supervisor as a tACP within an inpatient area to provide patient-centred clinical care.
On full evidence of completion of both the theoretical and practical components deemed necessary for the post, it is anticipated that the tACP will transition into an ACP following an interview process.

Qualifications
Essential
- NMC/HCPC Registered health care professional
- Eligible for entry onto the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice programme - health related first degree - English and Maths at GCSE grade C/4 or above or a minimum Level 2 functional skills
Experience
Essential
- Extensive and evidenced post registration experience (university entry requirement is at least 3 years)
- Relevant experience of working in the community Trust
- Experince in history taking and clinical reasoning skills related to role
- Experience of supporting learning in others
- Experience of participation in audit/research
Desirable
- Experience and evidence in developing practice
- Significant experience of partnership working across organisations/agencies including health, social care, voluntary sector
Skills/knowledge
