Post Title: Senior Respiratory Research Nurse
Grade: 7
Salary: �43,742 to �50,056 per annum

Location: CRF, Bradford Royal Infirmary
Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Fixed term: 1 year initially

This post provides an extremely exciting opportunity to be at the forefront in the development and operation of respiratory clinical trials. The post holder must have a working knowledge of commercial clinical trials and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and good organisational skills.
Must be willing to travel between sites. Flexible working hours.
Main duties of the job
Brief Description of the Role:
The post holder will be responsible for the day to day management of the respiratory nursing team ensuring appropriate cover and skill mix for smooth running of research projects.
They will be expected to take part in all aspects of commercial clinical trials, including phlebotomy, ECGs, observations and history taking. The post holder will also need to have excellent record keeping skills and maintain files and notes accurately. They will also be required to educate patients re: medication use and completing diaries and train relevant health care workers regarding trial protocols.
The post holder will be expected to liaise with general practices and trial monitors, attend and complete relevant training.
