Job summary
An exciting training opportunity is available for enthusiastic and forwardthinking pharmacists to join our friendly and supportive teams ofpharmacy staff in North Wales. These unique multi-sector posts willallow you to develop your clinical pharmacy skills and get involved inpatient care across primary and secondary care.
Successful candidates will be given the opportunity to undertake CardiffUniversity modules including Independent prescribing across differentsectors of pharmacy practice - Acute hospital, community hospitals andservices, and primary care (GP practices).There will also be the opportunity whilst in post to follow the HEIW postgraduate foundation pharmacist structured 2 year training programme.
At the end of the two year programme your portfolio will be submitted forRoyal Pharmaceutical Society Foundation framework credentialing.Alternatively we also offer fully funded training and developmentincluding a clinical diploma and advanced practice modules.Working as part of our integrated clinical pharmacy teams you will havedirect involvement in patient care and influence treatment choices bybeing involved in decision-making at the point of prescribing. There willbe added opportunity to focus on specialist and generalist clinical areasas part of a rotational programme.
