Due to staff development and promotion, we have a Community Staff Nurse position within the EastSouth Somerset Community Nursing team.
The East South Somerset's location covers Yeovil, Wincanton and surrounding areas please discuss your preferred location at the interview.
The role of the Community Staff Nurse has changed over the years, and we are now looking after complex patients in their home environment including complex wound management, palliative care and end of life care, medicines management, as well as having a high standard of holistic assessment and care planning skills.
The post available, involves working independently to support with managing the care of patients in our local community and wider Neighbourhood.

This post will involve working between the hours of 08:00 - 22:00 including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

- Work closely with the Team Leader coordinating the community nursing teams off duties to meet the needs of the community nursing service/workload.
- Ensuring all loans of equipment are appropriate and reviewed regularly
- Working in partnership with other health care professionals and agencies
