Job summary
We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Physiotherapist to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a developing service. The North East Essex Integrated Urgent Crisis Response Service is a newly integrated team which aims to ensure that patients are cared for in the right place at the right time by providing urgent community response, community IV antimicrobial therapy, admission prevention and discharge from ED and EAU, and community support.
You will be supported to develop new skills and build on your existing experience.
Main duties of the job
To provide a high standard physiotherapy service in the emergency assessment areas and ED.
To provide evidence based physiotherapy service that adheres to CSP and CQC clinical and quality standards.
To ensure as far as is reasonably practical the safety of the patients in your care.
To supervise and assist in the development of junior physiotherapists, unqualified staff and students on placement.
To undertake audit of both clinical practice and processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
To undertake weekend working as part of a seven day service.
