Job summary
We are looking for a Radiographer, with experience of Quality Management.
You will have responsibility for maintaining and improving the Quality Assurance System within the Radiotherapy Department, ensuring continuing compliance with British Standards Institute (BSI) ISO9001:2015.
You will also be responsible for the production of accurate monthly statistical data for National RTDS submissions on behalf of the managers of BHOC.
Main duties of the job
Working closely with the Quality Manager from Radiotherapy Physics you will work with staff writing documents for the Quality System. You will need to maintain records of all nonconformities within the department, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
You will play an active role in the Clinical Governance Programme, attending the Divisional Clinical Governance meetings to update the Division on QA matters and also have an active role in risk management.
Able to manage your workload independently, you will have responsibility for planning and initiating six monthly audits and external assessments and for facilitating participation of clinical staff in audits.
You will also have responsibility for the management of clinical incidents within Radiotherapy and the reporting of them nationally.
