Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic dietitian to join our friendly team of 14 dietitians and 3 part time dietetic assistants to contribute to the service we provide to adult in and outpatients at The Royal Oldham Hospital. This post is suitable for a newly qualified dietitian or one with some experience. You will work alongside band 6 and 7 specialist dietitians in a supportive team environment and will be provided with personal development opportunities. You will also be involved in training student dietitians, other health professionals and contribute to audit and quality improvement initiatives.
Main duties of the job
Provide a service to inpatient wards, including medical, surgical and orthopaedics, seeing patients requiring dietary education, oral nutritional support and enteral tube feeding.
Undertake a weekly general outpatient clinic
Contribute to the achievement of the Nutrition and Dietetics service objectives with the wider team
