Permanent Post - full time
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced nurse to join our team. The successful applicant must have relevant experience in cardiology, be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, good time management, be able to work well under pressure both within a team and independently and work flexibly to the needs of the service.
Main duties of the job
This post covers a wide range of specialist services including the Nurse-Led Valve Surveillance Clinics and the Stress Echocardiography service. It involves the management of patients undergoing various cardiac echocardiographic procedures and specific procedural responsibilities includes undertaking pharmacological (dobutamine) stress echo and physiological (supine bicycle and treadmill) stress echo, bubble and contrast studies and Transoesophageal echocardiograms.
The post holder will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the clinical governance process.
Demonstrate leadership skills
Possess clinical assessment skills and excellent clinical decision-making skills
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be dedicated and motivated in providing exceptional patient care
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
