Bank Immunisation Nurse
Band 5
We are looking for registered nurse required to support delivery of school aged vaccination programmes within Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes. You will be required to travel to local schools and clinics when on duty.
We require flexible workers to cover Monday - Saturday.
Main duties of the job
EPUT 'Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust' is recruiting for immunisation nurses to work within our Essex wide immunisation service. The service is primarily delivered through a school based model, offering all school aged vaccinations including the intranasal flu vaccination. Additional programmes are offered through community provision at clinics and home visits.

You will be an RN/RMN/RSCN with an interest in children and a good working knowledge of the child health immunisation service. The post holder must like children and have a compassionate manner when dealing with large groups of children and be able to work in a busy school setting.

You will be working under patient group directions to administer vaccination. Our service is very innovative and we currently utilise an electronic consent platform daily - IT skills are essential.
A current UK driving licence with access to a vehicle for work is essential for this post.
