Here at Dorset County Hospital, we are looking to grow our team of Permanent Healthcare Support Workers across many departments including:
  • ENT/OMF Department
  • Ophthalmology
  • Dermatology
  • Rheumatology
  • MDU & Ambulatory Care

The role of a Staff Nurse is a vital one - as a key team member in a multidisciplinary team you will be provided expert care for our patients in the what can be the toughest time for them. Person Specification



  • Maths functional skills level 1/ GCSE D-G
  • English functional skills level 1/ GCSE D-G



  • Previous experience within a healthcare setting, - either Nursing Home experience or Acute Hospital experience

Skills, Abilities & Knowledge


  • Evidence of good communication skills.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Evidence of ability to maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, patients and visitors.
