Job summary

The Radiology Nursing team is looking for a Staff Nurse to join on a full-time, permanent basis. This post is suitable for newly qualified/registered nurses, those wishing to explore a new competency or nurses with existing experience within Radiology.

You will take an active role in planning and providing a high standard of care to all patients requiring invasive and non-invasive radiological investigations, thus contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Radiology department.

Main duties of the job

  • To work with the Radiology Nursing Manager/Lead nurse in planning and organising nurse-led initiatives such the Hysterosalpingogram service.
  • Assist and participate with the recruitment, selection, training, and development of staff within the department where appropriate.
  • Participating in clinical audit and clinical governance.
  • To act at all times in accordance with the NMC code of Professional Conduct.
