Endeavour House is a 12 bed acute step down ward that provides care for people (Adult Males of Working Age ) who are experiencing a range of acute mental illnesses.

Endeavours aim is to encourage recovery, rehabilitation and a smooth transition back into the community through discharge pathways tailored to the service user. This is achieved by providing the highest quality of care to our patients, relatives and carers to give them a positive experience and facilitate recovery.

We are looking to recruit someone who is a passionate, dedicated and highly motivated registered mental health nurse, who is excited to be part of our team.

We are looking for inspirational, innovative, recovery minded and creative individuals who are dedicated to and passionate about caring for people with mental health needs. You will need to possess the highest qualities in clinical, interpersonal and interactive skills to contribute to the management and care of the service users to the point of discharge. You will also need to be compassionate and supporting of others.

Main duties of the job

You will be working within a Multi-Disciplinary Team in providing recovery focused, patient centred care. Staff are required to demonstrate multidisciplinary and multiagency working by actively leading discharge planning, seeking funding and acquiring appropriate accommodation where necessary and encouraged community engagement and enablement for services users. We provide individualised care for service users that often have complex mental health needs. This entails supporting recovery through: reintegration, providing holistic treatments promoting social inclusion, self-management, personnel autonomy and independence. We pride ourselves on valuing and supporting our staff team, which in turn allows us to deliver compassionate, inclusive, non- judgmental and evidence based care. We see each individual we care for as having the skills and ability to achieve their own personal recovery.
