Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our fantastic iCTM team as part of the quality improvement team. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic registered individual to join our team based at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital.

The post holder will provide comprehensive leadership support for the improvement team and wider Health Board

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

To be a core member of the Improvement CTM team, supporting the service in achieving its' plans in relation to the business plan and CTM 2030 priorities

Will have a strategic role in ensuring the development and maintenance of the Quality improvement strategic objectives across CTMUHB.

Responsibility for both the development and delivery of Quality Improvement training programmes for multi-disciplinary groups. This will include the development and delivery of training programmes to clinicians and senior staff across many organisational programmes, and the leading and facilitation of workshops covering a variety of subjects within the overall continuous improvement agenda.

To provide clinical, professional, and managerial leadership across the professions and care groups within CTMUHB

To work collaboratively with the wider teams to ensure effective communications about the activity and progress made.

Ensure that the service can meet its agreed targets within the available resources escalating any capacity issues.

Actively support the team objectives, leading projects and driving forward programmes.

To deputise for the Assistant Director of Improvement, Culture, Capability and Delivery in committees and meetings.

To be the lead for designated projects and areas of work which reflect clinical, professional, and corporate objectives, which impact beyond the scope of own service/speciality.

  • Registered Professional Healthcare or Social Care Qualification, requiring registration
  • Educated to relevant Master's Degree level



  • Ability to speak Welsh/willingness to learn



  • Significant management experience in a senior role including staff management, ideally within the NHS
