Job summary
There is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative Community Staff Nurse to join our friendly, supportive 0-19 team in West London.
We work with families in one of the most diverse boroughs in London to give children the best possible start in life by providing the most up-to-date evidence based support.
As part of our team, you will contribute to the delivery of the national 0-5 years Healthy Child programme across Hounslow, working closely with partners, such as such as GPs, children's centres and social care, providing seamless care to the population of Hounslow. You'll also have an important role helping to recognise and protect vulnerable children.
In return, we'll provide you with a comprehensive package of training and professional development, including regular supervision and weekly practice development sessions.
We also provide corporate leadership and mentorship training as well as an excellent preceptorship package for all newly qualified nurses. We are happy to fund your DBS check as part of our recruitment process.
Main duties of the job
To work within integrated children's teams to support and assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of activities aimed at promoting the health of the local population, as well as offering support to identified families.
Supporting the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme.
To participate in Child Health Clinics, group work and carry out a range of other activities across a variety of different settings agreed after specific training such as:-
