Bexley ICMP Team Manager, Band 7 Secondment/Fixed Term

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Team Manager within Bexley Intensive Case Management for Psychosis Team (ICMP) multi-disciplinary team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative professional from a nursing, social work or occupational therapy or psychology background with substantial experience of working with individuals with mental health problems, in community settings and who fully understands the leadership task of team development.

The ICMP service offers intensive case management to individuals who are living with a diagnosis of psychosis or bipolar affective disorder

The Team is to focuses on assessment, engagement, relapse prevention, self-management and recovery to optimise the service users' ability to live independently and enjoy a good quality of life.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a motivated individual to lead the day to day operations of the Bexley ICMP Team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and refine your managerial and leadership skills in a supportive environment, as we continue to develop and improve mental health services for residents of the Borough of Bexley.

Applicants should be a registered mental health practitioner with current registration and experience of working at Band 6 or above.

  • Relevant professional qualification (RMN, OT, Social Worker, Psychologist), educated to diploma, degree, masters level or have other relevant experience.
