Job summary
We have a great opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Trust in this clinical lead role. The postholder will oversee the delivery of Occupational Therapy working within the locality mental health teams based in Chelmsford and Braintree. This is a real opportunity to shape the delivery of services supporting the transforming of mental health provision for services users within mid Essex.
Within the Occupational Therapy service we have a strong professional leadership alongside the locality management.
Appropriate continuous professional development is supported.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will lead on the provision and delivery of Occupational Therapy interventions across adult mental health community services within the community provision in accordance with area / locality structures. You will work as a senior member of the multidisciplinary clinical team, delivering a high quality service supporting a recovery and rehabilitative approach that is underpinned by evidence based practice and care pathways / packages and NICE and DH guidance, providing day to day professional and clinical leadership, evaluation and monitoring across the service delivery pathway.
